Copper Slate tiles are formed when sandstone is subjected to enormous heat and pressure. As such, quartzite tiles, like sandstone, have a rough, grainy surface. Copper Slate tiles are known for their deep coppers, blacks and grays. They can also contain a rich palette of rusty oranges and fiery reds mixed with silver, blue and cream. Common uses include flooring, walls, backsplashes and countertops in both residential and commercial properties. The 1/2″ in thickness is recommended for interior use or covered patio/porch areas.
