A native stone of India, Bronte Stone is a hard sandstone that keeps its integrity, unlike many slates. Some people call it the brown and tan version of PA Bluestone. Bronte Stone is predominantly brown and tan with some pieces having vibrant rusts and reds throughout. Usually cut into square or rectangular shapes in 6” increments (12”x12” to 24”x24”), it comes in 1” +/- nominal thickness. Common uses for Bronte Stone are flooring and patios.
