Fieldstone Center

As the third-generation owner of Fieldstone Center, Lauren Poynter-White is evolving her family’s legacy for today’s design landscape. Known for her collaborative approach, she prioritizes communication and precision with builders and designers to deliver highly functional and showstopping results—not just for her clients but to elevate the industry as a whole.

What do you think has contributed to your success?
Being hands-on and having in-house fabrication allows my team to truly customize each project. We’re not just supplying material; we’re helping make sure it’s used the right way. Everything is fabricated specifically for each job, which makes a big difference in the end.

What trends are you excited about in landscape design?
I’m excited about the move toward more custom and detail-driven work. That’s what I enjoy—seeing people move away from the expected and choosing materials with more intention. It gives us the chance to create something that actually feels different.

What do you think makes you a Rising Star?
I’ve focused on being a partner, not just a supplier. Using communication, follow-through and teamwork early in the process gives us enough room to really help. We catch potential issues early, make better material recommendations and coordinate details more efficiently. The impact is fewer delays, fewer surprises on site and a much smoother overall build.

How has this mindset made an impact on the field as a whole?
The best projects come from strong partnerships behind the scenes. With trust and open communication, people are more willing to collaborate, problem-solve and try something new. Innovation happens when teams can push for better materials, better details and more creative solutions. Those relationships raise the standard—not just for one project, but across the industry.
